What Does God Look Like?

We can only see things that are physical, because sight is the phenomenon of light reflecting off a physical object into our eyes. Therefore, we cannot see a thought, as it is not physical, so light cannot bounce off it. We cannot see sound because it too does not reflect light. Many things exist, but are not subject to vision. We know they exist, but we cannot see them.
Seeing is not the only way we know something exists. Looking at a watch, we know it did not make itself, and what ever made it, possesses great intelligence, to plan and design all of the gears, springs, dials and moving parts that its hands should accurately display the proper time at all seconds of the day. We can't see the plan of the watch, because a plan is a thought and is not physical. But we can see the watchmaker's brilliance reflected in his mechanism.
The universe is the same idea: God is not physical, so we cannot see Him, but all the laws of the universe from galaxies down to the atomic level work together to sustain intelligent life. Just like there's a watchmaker, there's a Creator of the universe who is infinitely wise. Although we cannot see Him, we know He exists because the universe could not have created itself.
