Validation

Moshe Ben-Chaim

Reader: could you please outline what your qualifications are? Particularly the ones which enable you to define what is truly, Jewishly authentic?

Mesora: If you seek my approval by others who you accept, you then need to prove that they are accepted, and then those who accepted them need approval,..........you see, this is endless and futile, unless you can trace back a lineage of students all the way to Moshe.

Therefore, there must be rational criteria to determine that a person is functioning in line with the Torah, divorced from another's approval. Those criteria are that you consent that the quoted sources are accurate, that the interpretation is in line with reason, and that opinions are not against those of chazal. There is no other means to validate someone as being in line with the Torah.
